Seven seven non-professional Bailiffs Sworn In to Strengthen Local Justice Services
The Mayor of the District, Nsengimana Claudien, has officially administered the oath of office to seven non-professional bailiffs, following authorization from the Minister of Justice and Attorney General.
The newly sworn-in bailiffs are Executive Secretaries of the cells of Muharuro, Kavumu, Kivumu, Kamisave, Rugeshi, Songa, and Garuka. Their appointment is expected to enhance the effectiveness of justice service delivery at the grassroots level, particularly in the execution of court decisions and mediation of local disputes.
In his remarks, the Mayor emphasized the importance of professionalism and accountability in their new roles. He urged the officials to carry out their responsibilities with diligence and integrity, to honor the commitments made during their oath, and to continuously work towards improving service delivery standards.
The swearing-in marks a significant step in strengthening community-based justice systems, ensuring that citizens receive timely and fair services closer to where they live.
