Mayor Inspects Infrastructure Projects to Accelerate Completion
The Mayor of Musanze District, Nsengimana Claudien, today conducted an inspection tour of several district development projects to assess their progress and provide guidance aimed at ensuring timely completion.
During the visit on May 14, 2026, the Mayor reviewed the ongoing rehabilitation of cell offices in Kaguhu Cell, Cyanya Cell, and Gakoro Cell. These projects are part of the district’s broader efforts to improve administrative infrastructure and enhance the delivery of public services at the local level.
Mayor Nsengimana also inspected the construction of a modern landfill in Gacaca Sector, a strategic project expected to strengthen waste management and contribute to environmental and public health protection across the district.
Speaking during the tour, the Mayor emphasized the importance of maintaining quality standards while accelerating the remaining works so that all projects are completed within the planned timeframe. He called on contractors and supervising teams to work closely together to ensure that residents begin benefiting from these investments as soon as possible.
