Musanze
Musanze District is one of the five districts that make up the Northern Province. It was established by Law No. 29/2005 of 23 December 2005, which establishes and governs the structures of national decentralised administration.
Musanze District was formed from the former Ruhengeri Town, the former Mutobo District, the former Kinigi District, 14 sectors of the former Bugarura District, and 3 sectors of the former Bukamba District.
