Every year, Rwanda Defense Force Commands Staff College (RDFCSC) organizes a National Study Tour as part of the Senior Command and Staff Course curriculum, one of its major events, aiming at achieving mission of developing students’ intellectual ability of understanding national, regional and global security challenges and how they impact on military operating environment.

This year, The National Study Tour 2018, the college selected Rwandan Education Sector to constitute a basis for research to enhance students’ understanding of the general impact of this particular sector on national security under this theme: Rwanda’s Education Sector Policies and Programs and how they contribute towards Sustainable Peace, Security and Economic Development”.

 It is in this framework that on 8th February, 2018, a team of Faculty Staff and Students led by Colonel Winfried Dzandu HEDIDOR; The Head of Research and Development in RDFCSC visited Musanze District, as one of the selected Districts.

 

 

Welcoming Remarks by The Vice Mayor                                                                            

They were welcomed by the Vice Mayor in Charge of Social Affairs, Mrs Marie Claire UWAMARIYA, and had a presentation on the status of Rwanda Education Sector in general and in Musanze District  particularly, the existing policies and programs in place to improve already existing impressive achievements. It was a delegation of students from various Countries: Rwanda, Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania, Czech Republic and Ghana. The following day, on 9th February, 2018, the same delegation visited Muhoza Sector, where they had a conversation with the Executive Secretaries of Cells, Villagers’ Leaders and Students in National Services Program (Intore ziri ku Rugerero).
